Simple but cool important SEO tips to improve your web sales

Are you making the most of your Title Tags?Let’s talk about some easy ways to fine tune your pages that you think could be performing a little better.

We know that Google says there are at least 200 influences or ranking signals. Solid SEO work includes things like on-page factors, off-page factors and even artificial intelligence (AI) through Natural Language Processing these days.

However, the suggestion for working with your Titles that I have for you here is not just about rankings and visibility, but it’s about improving the click through ratio for your pages. Consider this…

If more people are compelled to click on your link than some other competing link, then that has some significant merit (regardless of your position within the top 10 results.) Don’t get me wrong, there will be times that you never use any of the tips, but always keep them in the back of your mind particularly on a page where you are attempting to offer something for sale.

To begin, let’s take a good look at your Title tags and see if you can’t improve them a little.

Try this tip on some of your pages which you feel need improvement or could use a higher percentage of visitors.

Most people will use their keyword in the Title Tag (which is a good thing to do.)
But then what do they often do?

Unfortunately, they may often think the Title is important so they focus on stuffing as keywords as possible in there too.
The result is a lame Title that don’t make any sense.

Try this approach instead:

Use your keyword phrase up front, followed by a clicking trigger.

A trigger is simply an action related “reason” why someone chooses to respond. For example there are certain triggers or reasons why people will buy something. Among these are topics related to improving health, safety, education or learning, making money, improving appearance, losing weight, gaining status.

You understand that there are certain triggers which are often the reason why someone chooses to buys somthing. The same things that trigger someone to buy something are often the same things that will compel them to click. If your product or service has these values and you are talking about compelling more response - try and get the trigger into your Title Tag too!

Think about it and be creative. Does your product or whatever you offer help with safety, or education or learning, making money, or helping people to conserve their time or do they even help improving appearances, (losing weight or gaining status somehow?)

Of course these are all good essential elements for writing a sales letter.

The difference here is that I am suggesting you move these elements right up into your Title tag where you will have them visible within the search results. The result should be a Title that reads well and compels the reader to take action and choose your link over other competing links regardless of where you rank in the top 10 results or so. After all, working with Title Tags is very easy to do.

For Example:

Maybe you are selling an e-book or music lessons. The trigger would be “learning” (people will pay to learn something useful, right?)
So you might use these types pf phrase in your Title:

Piano lessons - Learn how to memorize beautiful chords. That phrase “learn how” or “dicover how you” is the trigger.
Piano lessons - Discover how to memorize beautiful chords.

Next tip, whenever possible, think about adding the reason why or the “benefit” to the product. This can really make your Titles more compelling. So in our last example: (assuming your lessons have the benef of being fast and quick.)

Piano lessons - Discover how to easily memorize beautiful chords in only 2 weeks.
Piano lessons - Easily discover a quick and easy system that’ll have you play by the weekend.

Other examples:
Smart investments earn a second income online while you sleep.
Renew your mortgage - Get an Instant quote quicker than your bank!
Internet based business - Start earning immediately as you work from home

Sometimes, with a little thought, you can use your keyword phrase up front, followed by a clicking trigger, followed by a product benefit and even tie the sentence as a whole, into the objective of your page. For example, you may have a product for sale, or you may have a different objective for the page. Perhaps you are just asking someone to sign up for a newsletter. See if you can you tie it into that Title statement.

Be creative and start improving your clicks the easy way.
